After quitting my software development job of 10 years, I finally had the free time to build myself a set of cornhole boards to match my love for the game. I wanted to push my woodworking skills and I knew that I wanted to embed LEDs into the boards. After some spit-balling, it dawned on me, "Wouldn't it be sweet if the LEDs helped keep score?"
I proceeded to scour the internet looking for anything that I could use to interact with my LEDs and to my astonishment, found absolutely nothing. I thought to myself, "I'm an engineer, I can figure this out. How hard could it be?" (Thinking it would take me a month or so)
After thousands of programming hours, 20+ circuit board iterations and 5 prototypes, I finally had something that I'm incredibly excited to share with the community.
Let us know what you think.
